The symposium

Commitment, rewards and public speaking

Our maiden Volunteers Symposium brought together volunteers, medical professionals and community leaders around the theme Empowering Volunteers: Commitment, Rewards, and Public Speaking Skills for Impactful Service.

Sr Augustina Offor of Caritas covered the challenges, rewards and expectations of volunteering. Miss Ayanwusi of the University of Ibadan’s Social Work Department led an interactive session on public speaking. New volunteers were then introduced to our mission and sorted into four teams.
